THE SUN EP

Nils Penner hails from Bremen, Germany and juggles his work as as in demand graphic artist commissioned by many of the worlds leading labels with his passion for djing and production, he's previously recorded for Moodmusic with John Muder AKA Johnjon. German Born Muder & Vietnamese/Canadian Chi-Thien AKA Chopstick have worked together for many years known for their Baalsaal and Criminal Records labels as well as their recordings for Dirt Crew Recordings, Oliver Koletzki's label Stil Vor Talent and Sasse's Moodmusic.

We're excited to have them join the Absurd roster with a great project to kick off the summer and how fitting the release is entitled "The Sun EP" 2 original cuts, the "Sun Rises in the West" and "Sun sets in the West" - Deep house based around a simple bumpin baseline with catchy synth stabs and a melodic vibe. The "Sun sets in the West" takes things down a percussive route with a mellow laid back feel, both cuts are warm & organic perfect for these summer months.
