Zentrale Randgruppe

Zentrale Randgruppe are Simon Schwendener (Khainz) & Piero Scherer (Mirio) both living in Switzerland. Since the early 90's they both became interested in electronic music and the party-movement around the globe. Some years later they started to produce different styles of music in their home studios. Simon in Buchs (SG) and Piero in Lucern. In 2002 Simon moved to Lucern where they met for the first time. They quickly found that they had common interests in music & production, so they started work together making tunes. Soon they where working together more often and formed the band 'Zentrale Randgruppe'. More news will follow soon...

The Zentrale Randgruppe EP features 2 original tracks from the Lucerne boys. Their deep & cinematic grooves have been remixed by the almighty Afrilounge, who've turned in 2 nice dubby flavoured mixes of "Frijoles" While Jens Bond's driving remix of "Deep Sea Diver" gives the track a more big room feel. A well rounded package to kick off the debut release from the Swiss duo.
