MONOROOM

Monoroom

It is less than two years since the debutsingle "Electroeleganz" was published on Livelarge Records (2005) and yet the record-companies and producers are lining up to snatch a remix from the guys or even sign a track on their label.
To be sure the big step into publicity Monoroom made the single "Memory Inc." and a massive Gui Boratto Remix, which played itself on playlists or charts of well-known DJs and advanced to a clubhit.
Successful remixes for big labels like Kling Klong Records (Diringer - Flake Escape) or Multicolor Records (Eyerer&Namito - Reel Thing) accrued and Monoroom jiggled into focus. Their credo is still the employment of keyboards, synths and a microphone. This and their own and memorable sound makes them to one of the most demanded liveacts in the country. Their sound is not a mosaic of different samples but convinces because of its rhythm and aesthetics. Thus they construe their own style as a mixture of all techno-genres.

[ASD005] MONOROOM
WE ARE PLASTIQUE W/ PABLO BOLIVAR >>

Monoroom

We are Plastique is a dubby techno bumper with liquidy synths and subtle build that rumbles along sedately while unleashing a solid arsenal of heady effects. Pablo Bolivar delivers one hell of a remix which will send those Basic Channel, Deep Chord and Deep Space fans reeling. Deep thick heavy handed sound that chugs along with a dub funky edge all the way through. Some startling added synth stabs and huge bass groove make for a hypnotic dark and deep journey. Last up is Plem-Plem another equally brilliant slice of techno with a spacey deep expansive construction.
